“It’s Simultaneous Revival Time!”
BEBA’s Simultaneous Revivals are about to start, and I look forward to what God will do in our midst. We’ve had these special services in our association in the past, but this time, more churches are participating than ever before. We have 34 churches placed into ten groups about to come together for what I believe will be tremendously blessed times of worship.
There are five groups consisting of four churches, four groups made up of three churches, and one group of two churches. Regardless of the size of the group or the location of the services, hopefully, we have all been praying for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit.
In addition to these services taking place August 25-28, we are having a whole association “Night of Worship” at South Harriman Baptist Church on Thursday, August 29th, at 7 p.m., with Dr. Roc Collins from the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board bringing the message. Whether your church is involved in the other nights of the Simultaneous Revival, please plan to be there on that special night—you will be encouraged, blessed, and hopefully even more.
Additionally, there will be a “Community Choir” for the Aug. 29th Night of Worship at South Harriman. More details about this wonderful opportunity for those who desire to sing praises to God together will be forthcoming.
Now that the plans for all of these services have been made, we need to commit to attending one each night and inviting others to join us. More importantly, we need to pray. As the Evangelism Committee has said, “We have set the sails; now we need to pray for the wind to blow!”
Let us join together in praying for the mighty wind of the Holy Spirit to blow through our association as we lift high the blood-soaked banner of Jesus Christ!
