What is the Ministry Training Institute?

MTI is a non-degree academic program equipping ministers and lay leaders to live out their calling to serve Jesus Christ and His church.

In keeping with aspects of the mission of the Big Emory Baptist Association to assist churches in fulfilling the Great Commission through discipleship, ministry, and fellowship, we have partnered with Samford University to bring a non-degree academic program that equips anyone interested with the necessary tools to dive deeper into their faith and learn how to live out their calling to serve Jesus Christ and His church.

These 8-week Courses are $50 per student plus the price of the required reading. Anyone interested in taking the current course can register through the button below.

Spring B Biblical Foundations

Tuesdays at 6 p.m. March 25-May 13

Many Christians have not taken the time to study the various doctrines of the Bible that are critical to our spiritual growth. The first section of Biblical Foundations will engage students in doctrines such as the Trinity, the second coming, the afterlife, etc. An Understanding of these Biblical foundations will lead believers to a deeper relationship with God. Note: This location will offer Zoom as an alternative for class attendance.
